Bunker Hill TOUR — March 21st

Greetings fellow Hill enthusiast!

Admit it, you wake every morn and muse “that Bunker Hill place sure is intriguing, but I wish someone would guide me through the area for hours on end discussing where this building stood, where they shot that noir picture, but that’s never going to happen, so I shall suffer in the perpetual darkness of ignorance.”

Well suffer no more! Two weeks from today, via the intrepid work of Esotouric, I’ll be leading YOU and a whole collection of like-minded individuals across the landscape, navigating its vanished architectural strata and cinematic mythology, walking and talking Bunker Hill until you emerge from the darkness and ascend into the light of truth!

You may sniff at the fact that I’m a mere academic attempting to grasp our topic in the abstract, and you’d be right to do so. That’s why the other tour guide come March 21st is Gordon Pattison, who lived on the Hill in its pre-redevelopment era! My theoretical knowledge can only go so far, so Gordon’s experiential knowledge—a deep, biological, and psychological understanding—will lead you into greater comprehension and insight. Together, we shall bridge the divide between abstract inquiry and embodied memory, granting you an unparalleled immersion into the essence of Bunker Hill.

And if you (for some unfathomable reason) don’t own my books, I’ll have them available after the tour. I’ll have cash with which to make change but I take Venmo/Zelle/PayPal and all that stuff. Buy them from me on Bunker Hill and we can dispense with pesky nonsense like shipping and sales tax!

Buy two, I’ll knock off five bucks. Buy three, I’ll knock off ten bucks. Buy all four, shave $20 off the total!

See you there!
