Hey all! My pal Lisa Napoli published a nifty piece in LA Local this week, called “The four corners: How I watched downtown LA rise, fall and reinvent itself” (my apologies to Lisa for changing it to “Third and Figueroa” in my much-shortened blogpost title!) and if you haven’t seen it, check it out:
The four corners of Third and Figueroa are a pretty neglected part of the world (most tourists, and even residents, rarely venture west of Hope Street, save for the Bonaventure to the south, and the Broad-connected metro stop to the north) so it’s neat to see the four major buildings covered. Those being, of course, the Sheraton Grande, The Park, the Bunker Hill Apartments, and the World Trade Center (a recent post one the WTC, here). Each of these projects gets their own entry in Marsak’s Guide, of course:
